Highgate Cemetery is a real-life cemetery located in North London, England. The cemetery makes an appearance in The Shadow Cabinet, the third novel in the Shades of London book series.

Highgate Cemetery is the dwelling place of two known ghosts, including Ol' Jim the Resurrection Man. Protagonist Rory pays a visit to the cemetery to find him and ask for information. When Rory refuses to compile with Jim's request to terminate the other resident ghost, Jim disappears from view and hurtles rocks at Rory's head. Rory takes shelter in one of Highgate's tombs, but becomes trapped inside.
Freddie and Jerome are walking through the cemetery when they hear Rory's screams.
