The Bristol Home is the house Rory's parents are living in during their year of sabbatical teaching in England.
At the beginning of The Madness Underneath, Rory has gone to live there with them in the aftermath of Newman's assault, where she recovers from her abdomen wound. The house is located at the top of a hill, and Rory complains about the uphill journey to return home. After her unprecedented encounter with a ghost on a bench, the steep incline does not help to ease Rory's nausea. The house comes with a 'conservatory', but Rory asserts that it is merely a glassed-in porch.
